Elijah Arpa is a graphic artist from the Philippines. He has a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts Major in Advertising at Far Eastern University. In his senior year he had an Honorable Mention Award in the Advertising Thesis Design for that particular school year.
After graduation he was hired by a well-known cosmetics company as a Graphic Artist and from there he developed his skills in advertising layout and design for the Marketing Department for more than two years. He's currently working at a computer retail company as a web designer and graphic artist.
He's also doing freelance works and commissions for various clients such as schools, churches and other business firms. (logos, caricatures, uniform designs, etc.)
He is very fond of vector/vexel art and comic art. A big fan of Anime & Manga series such as Dragonball, Death Note, Yuyu Hakusho, Slam Dunk, Rurouni Kenshin, One Piece and Naruto. He likes to play videogames such as GTA series, Silent Hill, DOTA, Parasite Eve, Megaman, Suikoden and many more. In his childhood years his influences were from cartoon classics like Transformers, Ghostbusters and a whole lot more including dramas like Cedie the young prince, The Adventures of Huck Finn and the Dog of Flanders, DC Comics’ Batman and Marvel’s Uncanny X-men and Amazing Spiderman and also Japan Heroes like Space Sheriff Shaider, Kamen Rider Black, Bioman, Maskman and Ultraman.
His interests also includes photography, cosplay, spoofs, caricatures, 3D animation, movies, MMA and boxing main events, basketball, traditional painting and photo manipulation.
With his current skills in various art categories, he is still discovering what particular "Art Style" he will use to be a complete artist on whatever art path he might take. He is still learning and honing his God-given talent especially in the digital realm.
His dream is to become a master graphic artist.
